1st Marldon Scout Group
We meet in our Scout HQ, Furzegood, Marldon. TQ3 1PH
We have 4 sections in our Group, open to both girls and boys with an age range from 6 to 18 years old.
The Beavers meet on Thursday evening at 6.00 – 7.15pm.

We meet at our Scout hut throughout the year, however during the Summer you will find us out and about, playing games on the Meadow in Marldon or down on the Beach building sandcastles and exploring rock pools. We have a Facebook Page for keeping parents informed of our programme and activities.
The Cubs meet on Tuesday evening at 6.00-7.30pm. The section leader is Akela
Our activities are exciting including, fire lighting, map work and knife skills with plenty of outdoor games. We learn many new skills in preparation of joining the scout section.

Parents Guide to Cubs
The Scouts meet on Friday evening at 7.00- 9.00pm. The Section Leader is O.J.(John)
We have a packed programme that always includes a new adventurous activity such as Fencing, Shooting and Archery.
We take part in many camps, teaching the scouts basic survival skills and how to use axes and knives, teaching out Young People Skills for Life

Parents Guide to Scouts
Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18.
Together, they make up the fourth section of the Scouts.
Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Units to try new things, make new friends and conquer the small task of changing the world.
Riviera Explorers are a recently formed Unit of 14-18 year old young people.
We meet at the Marldon Scout H.Q. on a Wednesday evening 7.00- 9.00 pm

Fund Raising
Our young children take part in a number of ways to fund raise for the Group. Bag packs at the local supermarkets, sponsored walks, and also easy fundraising, where companies donate a % of the sale when you shop online, just click on the link below and sign up to support our Group.
