Our District is made up of 8 groups of which 4 are Sea Scout groups.

We also have 5 Explorer Units.

We cover an area of South Devon including Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, the villages of Marldon and Stoke Gabriel.

We are part of the worldwide family of scouting which has around 31 million members across the world!

We have lots of opportunities for young people to join the adventure that is scouting, and we also have lots of opportunities for adults to join us too!

If you’re looking for a scout group in your area have a look at our find us section or let us know you’re interested, and we will put you in contact with someone.

We are looking forward to welcoming you into this exciting adventure that is scouting.

Adult Volunteers

Of course, none of this would be possible without the Adults involved in Scouting!

We’re always on the lookout for new leaders and adult helpers. Whether you have previous Scouting experience or not, if you could spare some time to help out why not learn more about volunteering.

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that the adults get as much from Scouting as the young people

Why not find out more about what we get up to

Young people first: safeguarding and safety.

Wherever we go and whatever we do, we put young

people’s safety and wellbeing first in Scouting.
