Activities during the day included changing a tyre, checking the screen wash and anti freeze and preparing a vehicle for an MOT test. To challenge the Scouts, 6 Rifles also included additional skill based activities such as  a  Climbing Wall and  Airsoft target shooting. The Scouts had the opportunity to brush up on their CPR on a first aid base.

The Scouts also learnt about the regiment and the equipment that the Soldiers use.

Olivia, Patrol Leader from 1st Marldon Scouts said, “Throughout our day we learnt many important life skills and had fun at the same time. I have found the activity day a great learning experience as it also showed what the Army actually do, whilst having fun. I would recommend the day to any other Scouts.

Thank you for inviting us.”
